If signing in stops working

The window's subtitle, under “Wesleyan Workday”, shows whether WesWork is signed in.

SubtitleWhat it means
Connecting…WesWork is opening Workday and reading your counts.
Signing in…Workday's session ended and WesWork is signing you back in.
Password neededWesWork is holding back your saved password. Type it on the sign-in page.
Not signed inNo password is saved, or the sign-in couldn't finish (for example, a Duo request wasn't answered).

If the subtitle says “Password needed”

Every wrong password counts toward Wesleyan's account lockout. So WesWork stops submitting your saved password if Wesleyan rejected it, or if two sign-ins in a day didn't finish.

  1. On the sign-in page, which already shows your username, type your password.
  2. Click Log In and approve Duo.

WesWork saves the password you typed and goes back to signing you in.

If you changed your Wesleyan password

The first sign-in with the old password fails, and WesWork then waits for you. Type your new password on the sign-in page, and WesWork saves it.

If the subtitle says “Not signed in”

After a sign-in that doesn't finish, WesWork waits a few minutes before trying again by itself, so a Duo request you missed doesn't keep coming back.
